Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Providing the ability for antennas to relay communications to and from mobile and portable units under the Adaptive Joint C4ISR Node Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration program. See attached exhibit. It is noted that the facilities requested in this STA Request will be operated in conjunction with the experimental facilities granted under Call Sign WB9XZU (File No. 0484-EX-ST-2004) in support of the AJCN program. Specifically: (i) Antenna #1 in the instant STA Request adds four (4) frequencies to the fixed AJCN base station used for this system; (ii) Antenna #2 in the instant STA Request adds a new ICOM-F3GT mobile radio to the authorized AJCN system; (iii) Antenna #3 in the instant STA Request adds a new Vertex VX-510 mobile radio to the authorized AJCN system; and (iv) Antenna #4 in the instant STA Request adds new frequencies to the mobile radio ITT RT-1523-C.
