Request for Special Temporary Authority
File No. 1800-EX-ST-2018

This application requests a grant of special temporary authority to utilize frequency bands
currently held by the applicant in a Low Power Auxiliary (PMRS) License pursuant to the Part
74 Rules of the Commission on a nationwide basis (WQFH685) for normal video and audio
production, which is the business of the applicant.

The applicant is currently in the process of a business transaction that will constitute a transfer of
control. That transfer of control is scheduled to occur imminently, prior to the time that the
Commission could approve a transfer of control of the referenced Low Power Auxiliary license.
Because pursuant to the Commission’s rules and the Communications Act of 1934, no interest in
the subject license can be transferred without prior Commission authorization, it will be
necessary to surrender said license prior to the time that control of the licensee occurs, and to
apply for a new Low Power Auxiliary license at a later date after the transfer of control of the
licensee is consummated. However, the ongoing business obligations of the applicant must
continue unabated in the meantime, and the use of the frequencies authorized by this license are
critical to the business operations of the applicant.

Therefore, the applicant requests the use on a nationwide basis of the bands specified in this
application and in Broadcast Auxiliary Low Power License WQFH685. The applicant also
respectfully requests expedited review of this application so that the applicant can continue its
business operations subsequent to November 1, 2018 and until the time that a substitute LP
Auxiliary license can be acquired by the applicant.

During the STA period, the “stop buzzer” contact at all locations where any of these frequencies
will be used is Mr. Peter Larsson, who can be reached at all times at 443-831-1296.

As the applicant does now in every case of licensed use of any of the requested frequency bands,
all operation pursuant to this STA will be done after prior coordination with the Society of
Broadcast Engineers’ volunteer frequency coordinators in each market.
