Request for Waiver of Section 25.119(d) Scripps Media, Inc. (”SMI”) hereby requests waiver of the deadline set out in Section 25.119(d) of the Rules. Section 25.119(d) specifies that, “[f]or involuntary transfers, you must file your application within 10 days of the event causing the transfer of control.” Accordingly, this application was due last Friday, February 1, 2013--10 days after the January 22, 2013, issuance of the court order that effectuated the transfer of control. Instead, due to some uncertainty regarding the filing requirement, this application is being submitted on the next business day following the deadline. Grant of this waiver will serve the public interest by authorizing the orderly transfer of control of SMI’s satellite earth stations in accord with the order of the probate court.
