("WKBW License"), licensee of satellite earth stations E000053, EO50089, E865034, E930245 and E960489, the instant letter is filed to notify the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") that consummation of the transfer of control of WKBW License from Granite Broadcasting Corporation ("Granite") to SP Granite LLC ("SPLLC") occurred on June 4, 2007 pursuant to the above—referenced special temporary authority ("STA"). The STA was granted on May 22, 2007 to permit the transfer of control of WKBW License from Granite to SPLLC during the pendency of the above—referenced earth station transfer of control application ("Transfer Application"). The Transfer Application was released on public notice on May 23, 2007 and remains pending. If the Transfer Application has not been acted upon on or before July 20, 2007, the date on which the STA expires, the parties will seek an extension of the STA to ensure the continued provision of service to the public during the pendency of the earth station transfer of control application.
