Alascom, Inc. requests a 60-day extension of its special temporary authorization to construct and operate a new back-up Ka-band antenna at its Chena Hot Springs earth station (call sign E910021) that will communicate with DIRECTV's SPACEWAY-2 (call sign S2133) at 138.9 W.L. The technical details for the Ka-band antenna are provided in the pending Modification Application and are incorporated by reference herein. See SES-MOD-20190415-00509 and SES-STA-20200319-00266. Pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission's rules, Alascom will continue to operate pursuant to the terms and conditions of its existing STA pending action on this timely filed renewal.
