- Due to the retirement of its Chief Engineer and miscommunication between Him and the licensee,the licensee inadvertently failed to file its license renewal prior to the 10/23/2017 expiration date of its license. The licensee filed its most recent request for STA, SES-STA-20181112-03199, which was granted on 12/12/2018 and expires on February 12, 2019. In the interim, the licensee has been preparing FCC Form 312. However, preperation of the application for a new satellite license was interupted by the shutdown of the Federal Government from 1/3/19 until 1/28/19 and the inoperability of IBFS. The license is currently preparing FCC Form 312 and hopes to have it filed shortly. Consequently, the licensee respectfully requests extension of the present STA to operate until the new license application is filed and granted.
