Dortch Secretary Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street, SW Washington, DC 20554 Re: Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems Inc. – Earth Station Installation Photos File No. SES-STA-20180406-00327 Dear Ms. Dortch: In response to the Commission’s request for additional information on the ground station installation at the San Diego, California site, Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems Inc. (“Tyvak”) hereby provides the attached site installation photos for the yagi ground station. The ground station, consisting of an antenna array of four (4) yagi antennas affixed to a base station, will be used solely to support the CICERO cubesat mission as described in the above-referenced 60-day request for special temporary authorization (“STA”). As depicted in the photos, the ground station is installed on a private rooftop with no access to the general public. Moreover, the ground station will be marked with the standard radiation hazard warnings, as well as the area in the vicinity of the ground station, to inform those who might be working or otherwise present in or near the path of the main beam.
