13. Description
The USN ground station shall be used to assist the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) with a ranging calibration campaign using the ESA Cryosat−2 spacecraft. This calibration is to validate the USN North Pole ground station which will support the upcoming Sentinels 3B LEOP support on April 25, 2018. This STA has been delayed from its original dates of Feb 9 - March 14th to now March 6th - April 12th, 2018. This test consists of a maximum of 12 passes over a 5 week period now commencing on March 6, 2018.
