Intelsat License LLC herein requests a grant of Special Temporary Authority for 60 days, commencing February 15, 2018, to utilize its new 9.4 meter, Ku-band earth station in Hagerstown, Maryland, call sign E170135, prior to grant of permanent operating authority. The antenna will communicate in the 13.0-13.25 GHz and 13.75-14.50 GHz bands (Earth-to-space) and 10.7-11.95 GHz band (space-to-Earth) with the U.S.-licensed Intelsat 37e satellite at 18.0 W.L. Intelsat has filed an application for authorization to operate this new antenna on a permanent basis, which remains pending before the Commission.
