Conditions for Grant ofHurricane—related STA request September 23, 2005 Petrocom‘s Sept. 23, 2005 request for special temporary authority (STA) S GRANTED. Accordinaly, Petrocom is authorized from September 23, 2005 to October 22, 2005 to use a Prodeli 2.4 meter antenna to communicate wth the AMC:9 (85° W.L., using the 3700—1200 and $925—6425 Mz bands to restore its digial backhaul operations under Call Sign E030092 which was previously located at ts East Timbalier Island toa new site located at geographic coordinates of 29° 6 9" N.Lat, 90° 11° 25" W. Long. This authorization is on an unprotected non—interference basi iaccordance with the terms, conditions,and technical specifications set forth in the Commission‘s rules and this document 1. Petrocom shall coordinate all ots operations so that no harmful inerference shallbecaused to any otherlawfully operating satelitesor radiocommunication system. Petrocom shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such iterference and inform the Commissionin writing immediaely of such an event 2.. Petrocom is required to accept iterference from other lawfilly operating satelites or radiocommunication systems. 3.. Anyaction taken or expense incurred as a result ofoperations pursuant o this specialauthority is solelyat Petrocom‘s own risk. 4.. This granti limited t the authorization ofan antenna structure that is exempt, pursuant to Section 17.14 ofthe Commission‘s rules, from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) notification requirements, 47 C.F.R § 17.14. Petrocom is insricted to review the rules concerning FAA notiication critern. See 47 C.FR. Part 17, Subpart B. 5. Petrocom shall provide the Commission with a completefrequency coordination and interference report within 30 calendar days ofthis grant. This STA may be terminated atthe International Bureau‘s discretion, withouta hearing, ifcondiions warrant. Under no circumstances may the faciity(ies authorized violate the terms ofan intermational agreement otreaty. Ifan application for permanent authority is on file with the Commission, ths action is aken without prejudice to that application. The applicant is required to post ando retain a copy ofthis authoriztion as required by the Commission‘s Rules: This grantisissued in accordance with emergency procedures putin place t provide communications in areasaffected by Hurricane Katrina.
