| 12. Description.
Terremark Worldwide, Inc. seeks to extend the existing STA (SES-STA-20041123-01727) for their second C-band, transmit/receive earth station, to permit operations while their license modification is being processed. The earth station is to be part of a US government network, and will provide digital audio, video and data services on that network. To meet critical governmental and customer service dates, Terremark requests an extension of their current Special Temporary Authority. An extension of the STA will allow Terremark Worldwide to continue operations on the network essential to meet urgent governmental demands necessary in the furtherance of the public interest.
