- 41. Application Description
- COMSAT, Inc. respectfully requests that its Santa Paula, CA teleport E890649 license be modified to add authorization to the license for one new Ku-band Hub Antenna. The specifications and particulars for the new antenna, which is being named 'SAPA42Ku', are set forth in the Schedule B. It is also requested that new Emission Designators be added to the authorization currently on the license for the 'SAPA41Ku' antenna and that the Total EIRP for All Carriers and elevation be updated for 'SAPA41Ku'. The new Emission Designators are set forth in the Schedule B. The updates for the Total EIRP for All Carriers and elevation for 'SAPA41Ku' are set forth in the Schedule B and also shown on the attached license mark-up exhibit. Authorizations requested for the new antenna 'SAPA42Ku' and updated Emissions requested for the existing antenna 'SAPA41Ku' include Receive -space to earth- on Extended Ku-band frequencies but protection From Interference is not being requested for the Extended Ku-band Receive -space to earth- authorization and so no Coordination Report is being submitted. Addition of the new Emission Designators and the update of the Total EIRP for All Carriers and elevation for 'SAPA41Ku' are the only changes being requested for the antennas currently authorized on the license. There are no changes to any of the other current authorizations and specifications.
