                                 _ Exhibit A

Reéponse to Question 43, FCC Form 312

Panamsat Licensee Corp. ("PanAmSat") requests modification of its earth station license,
call sign E940333, to extend the satellite coordination are with respect to use of the
frequencies 5925—6425 MHz and add a new satellite coordination arc for the frequencies
3700—4200 MHz. The new extended arc will cover the range of orbital longitudes from
29° W.L. to 145° W.L.

This earth station license currently authorizes communication as follows:
e In the 5925—6425 MHz band with all U.S.—licensed and Permitted Space Station
List satellites, with a satellite coordination are spanning from 60° W.L. to
        145° W.L.;

e In the 3700—4200 MHz band with all U.S.—licensed and Permitted Space Station
        List satellites.

Thepresent modification seeks to:
e extend the coordination arc in the frequency band 5925—6425 MHz from the
       current 60° W.L. — 145° W.L. listed in item 1 of Section C (Frequency
        Coordination) to 29° W.L. — 145° W.L.; _

e add a new coordination arc in the frequency band 3700—4200 MHz as a newitem
        2 of Section C (Frequency Coordination) from 29° W.L. to 145° W.L.

The relevant modification sought per the above is shown in Exhibit B of this application.
The corresponding coordination report is provided as Exhibit C.
The presentapplication does not entail any material change to the "transmit and receive" _
parameters of the earth stations licensed under call sign E940333. Accordingly,
