Washington, D.C. 20554 Re File no SES- Lic-200305113-00644 Call sign:E030113 Dear Ms. Lam I respectfully request a 30-day extension to 12 August 2003 in order to complete the coordination and provide the amendments to support our license application file number SES-LIC-20030513-000644. I have contacted ARTEL Inc. for assistance in coordinating with the satellite operators in obtaining letters to support our license petition. In addition, I am working on the procedural issues to respond to PANAM SAT’s concern that we will be able to maintain tracking, alignment and proper monitoring to minimize any adjacent satellite interference if our license is approved. We do not anticipate using C-band very often throughout the year. Therefore, we will be limiting satellite access to three satellites and are coordinating with ARTEL Inc. to contact the satellite service providers for adjacent operator concurrence. Our USC-60A is a mobile military terminal that is being operated by INTEROP in a fixed location at the Joint Interoperability Test Command, Joint Test Facility, Fort Huachuca Arizona. I will be contacting PANAM SAT to discuss their petition for denial during this extension. This process is new to us and we are working diligently to obtain the necessary documentation to support our license petition.
