MCI WORLDCOM Network Services, Inc. (debtor-in-possession) ('WorldCom') respectfully requests an extension of its Special Temporary Authorization ('STA'), SES-STA-20030306-00275 (which was granted on 3/10/03, and subsequently renewed on 8/19/03 with SES-STA-20030821-01187), from the current expiration date of March 10, 2004, to September 10, 2004. WorldCom is operating under this STA while its modification application to add Intersputnik Express 3A as a point of communication is pending before the Commission (File No. SES-MOD-20021125-02060).
