Request for Special Temporary Authority Intelsat 604 Intelst North America LLC (‘Intelsa"), pursuant to 25.120 ofthe FCC‘s rules,‘requests Special Temporery Authority (°STA")" for 30 days, from January 30, 2006 to March 1, 2006, to stop the deif ofINTELSAT 604 and operate in inclined orbitat 177.85° EL. Intelsat curently holds authority to relocate and operate the INTELSAT 604 satelite i inclined orbitat the 178° EL. orbite location:" Pursuant to tat authority, the INTELSAT 604 satelite is currently drifiing, and is quite close, to the 178° EL. orbitl location. Stopping the drif of INTELSAT 604 at 177.85° EL. and subsequent operation in thatlocation will serve the public interest by accommodating a co—locationcoordination agreement with Inmarsat and allowing Intelsat flexbility to achieve a safe and efficient station keeping of the INTELSAT 604 satelite with an Inmarsatsatellte located at the 178.1° E.L. orbital location.
