Re: Application to Modify Authorization for Galaxy 11; Call Sign S2253
               File No. SAT-MOD-20181231-00095

Dear Ms. Dortch:

At the request of Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) staff, Intelsat License LLC
(“Intelsat”) hereby supplements its above-referenced Application. Specifically, Intelsat updates the
Commission on a recent anomaly and revises the license extension term requested in the Application.

On January 18, 2019, Galaxy 11 experienced a position-control anomaly.1 The anomaly has been
corrected and the thrusters currently are working as expected. Further, the satellite’s subsystems and
solar panels are functioning normally, and there are no single points of failure on Galaxy 11 that would
result in an inability to de-orbit the satellite. Intelsat does not expect this event to affect the drift of
Galaxy 11 or its future operations.2

Additionally, Intelsat revises its requested Galaxy 11 license term extension. Intelsat now seeks to
extend the Galaxy 11 license term through December 2022.3 To the extent the satellite’s projected end
of service life is extended in the future, Intelsat will seek an additional extension of the license term. All
