Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Notice of Deployment IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20140912-00100 (Call Sign S2912) Dear Ms. Dortch: By this letter, Planet Labs Inc. provides notification to the Commission that beginning on May 30, 2016, and concluding on June 1, 2016 eight (8) “Flock 2e” satellites and eight (8) “Flock 2e_prime” satellites were deployed from the International Space Station (“ISS”) into a 403 km circular orbit with an inclination of 51.6°. The Flock 2e satellites were delivered to the ISS via an Atlas V / Cygnus launch on December 6, 2015, and the Flock 2e_prime satellites were delivered to the ISS via a subsequent Atlas V / Cygnus launch on March 23, 2015. Eight (8) Flock 2e_prime satellites remain on the ISS and are expected to be deployed in the coming months. Please direct any questions regarding this filing to the undersigned.
