Attachment to Grant IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20090108—00004 Call Sign: $2237 July 08, 2009 The application of PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (PanAmSat), IBFS SAT—MOD—20090108—00004, to modify its authorization to operate a C— and Ku—band space station, Intelsat 11 (Call Sign: 2237), is GRANTED.! Accordingly, PanAmSat is authorized to relocate the Intelsat 11 space station to the 43.0° W.L. orbit location and to provide Fixed Satellite Service in the 3700—4200 MHz (space—to—Earth), 5925—6425 (Earth—to—space), 10.70—11.45 GHz (space—to—Earth), 12.75—13.25 (Earth—to—space) and 13.75—14.00 GHz (Earth—to—space) frequency bands at that location in accordance with the technical specifications set forth in its application, the Federal Communication Commission‘s rules not waived herein, and the following conditions: 1. PanAmSat shall operate the Intelsat 11 space station at the 43.0° W.L. orbit location in compliance with all existing or future coordination agreements for that location. 2. Intelsat‘s request that the Part 25 technical waivers granted to the Intelsat 11 space station for operations at the 43.1° W.L. orbit location continue to apply at the 43.0° W.L. orbital location IS GRANTED, see IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20070207, as amended by SAT—AMD—20070716— 00102 (granted October 4, 2007). 3. PanAmSat shall maintain its space station within an east—west longitudinal station—keeping tolerance of + 0.05° of its assigned 43.0° W.L. orbital location. 4. In connection with the provision of service in any particular country, PanAmSat is obliged to comply with the applicable laws, regulations, rules, and licensing procedures of that country. 5. Grant of this modification application does not change the expiration date of the authorization for Intelsat 11, which is January 14, 2023. 6. PanAmSat is afforded thirty days from the date of release of this grant and authorization to decline this authorization as conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the authorization as conditioned. 7. This action is issued pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.F.R. § 0.261, and is effective immediately.
