Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/21/2011 On October 21, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to ViaSat, Inc., for period of 60 days to conduct in-orbit testing of the ViaSat-1 satellite using the 28.1-29.1 GHz and 29.5-30.0 GHz frequency bands (Earth-to-space), and the 18.3-19.3 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz frequency bands (space-to-Earth) at the 109.2° W.L. orbital location. In connection with the grant, the call sign associated with this file number was modified from S2830 to S2747.
