The Commission reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154. SAT-STA-20051130-00257 E EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Date Filed: 11/30/2005 16:50:28:08600 Special Temporary Authority EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation has filed an application for special temporary authority to permit it to test its new EchoStar 10 spacecraft at 138.5° W.L. for a period of up to 90 days following launch. EchoStar 10 is a Direct Broadcast Satellite satellite that EchoStar proposes to operate at the 110° W.L. orbital location. (See File No. SAT-LOA-20051221-00267.) EchoStar states that temporary operation of EchoStar 10 at 138.5° W.L. will permit testing to occur without disruption to existing customers at 110° W.L. and will not adversely affect the operation of any other carrier’s spacecraft or other authorized spectrum users.
