SAT-MOD-20141210-00127 E S2834 Hughes Network Systems, LLC Date Filed: 12/10/2014 19:50:21:14000 Modification Hughes Network Systems, LLC requests modification of its grant of U.S. market access for the Jupiter 97W satellite at the 97.1° W.L. orbital location. Hughes was granted market access to provide fixed-satellite service using the 18.3-19.3 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 28.35-29.1 GHz and 29.25-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Hughes seeks to add the 27.85-28.35 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency band, to change the authorizing administration from the United Kingdom to Papua New Guinea, and to conform the grant to the technical parameters of its satellite under contract for construction. As part of its application, Hughes requests waiver of Sections 25.210(i)(1) and 25.114(c)(4)(i), (ii), and (v) of the Commission's rules.
