Dortch, Secretary Pederal Communications Com mission Federal Communications Commission Office of the Secretary 445 Twelfth Street, SW, TW—A325 Washington, DC 20554 Re: Mobile Satellite Ventures Subsidiary LLC Request for Correction of the Commission‘s Records ECC File No. ITC—214—19961118—00577 (formerly TTC—96—633) Dear Ms. Dortch: Mobile Satellite Ventures Subsidiary LLC ("MSV*") hereby requests a correction of the Commission‘s IBFS database to remove FCC File No. ITC—214—19961118—00577 from the IBFS "International Section 214 Current Authorizations List." On November 18, 1996, AMSC Subsidiary Corporation ("AMSC"), MSV‘s predecessor in interest, filed an application for Section 214 authority (the "Application"). See FCC File No. ITC—214— 19961118—00577 (formerly ITC—96—633). On January 31, 1997, prior to the grant of the Application, AMSC filed a letter requesting dismissal ("Dismissal Request") of the Application. See attached Letter to William Caton, Acting Secretary of the FCC, from Robert Galbreath, Counsel for AMSC Subsidiary Corporation (January 31, 1997). On February 4, 1997, the Commission issued a letter granting dismissal of the Application. See attached Letter to Robert L. Galbreath, from Diane J. Cornell, Chief, Telecommunications Division (February 4, 1997). However, the IBFS database incorrectly indicates that the Commussion granted the Application on February 4, 1997. Additionally, the granted authorization is incorrectly listed in the "International Section 214 Current Authorizations List." Accordingly, MSV requests that the IBFS database be corrected and the authorization be removed from the "International Section 214 Current Authorizations List."

Dear Mr. Galbreath: This is in response to your referenced letter, requesting dismissal — of the referenced application of AMSC®Subsidiary Corporation (AMSC) for authority to provide resold private lines and mobile satellite service on an interim basis between the United States and Canada. Pursuant to your request and Section 1.748 of the Commission‘s Rules, the referenced application is hereby dismissed without prejudice. This action does not affect our grant of Special Temporary Authority to AMSC to provide this service, granted November 20, 1996 (TAO—2576).
