Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is necessary in order to provide frequencies for video production from aircraft at the location of golf and horseracing events that are broadcast to the public via over the air broadcast, cablecast and satellite. The frequencies available at the site of these events pursuant to the applicants LTTS license are not sufficient due to sharing with Broadcast Auxiliary and other LTTS licensees to provide adequate video bandwidth channels for transmission of aerial video to production trucks on the ground at the site of the event.
