Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The Mobile and Portable Radio Research Group at Virginia Tech has research interests in the new TV Band Devices (see ET Docket 04-186 and 02-380) that have been approved by the Commission. We are interested in performing experiments relating to these devices, and require an STA to perform these experiments.
