The University of Massachusetts has a pending license for a transportable meteorological radar system (File no. 0050-EX-PL-2000) for testing and operations in Amherst, MA. The University of Massachusetts request an STA for operation of this radar in the Salt Lake Valley during Fall 2000 to fulfill a research grant from the Dept of Energy.
