Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
We endeavor to research broadband wireless communications networks operating in the 3.5GHz band. In particular, our research aims to evaluate new and innovative mobility technologies that enable mobile devices to establish and maintain communications links with network infrastructure while on the move. Our research will assess the ability of such techniques to meet the unique demands of mobile devices and network services proposed for broadband wireless networks emerging in the 3.5Ghz bands, such as those networks commonly referred to as WiMAX.
