A new DSRC Transmitter will be used at this site. This Transmitter is an updated model to the currently licensed Transceiver, but meets the same specifications and requirements stated on the current license. The new Transceiver model number is M215. This Transceiver will be submitted to the FCC for certification in November/December 2004. This new Reader will be used to support a new contract with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to provide a DSRC system to allow single occupancy vehicle (SOV) using high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes.
