Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Extension of this STA is required due to Congress delaying the DTV transition date until June 12,2009. Prior to this event, it was expected that this STA would not be needed after Feb17, 2009. Qualcomm is operating low power (36uW ERP) MediaFLO transmitters for short term demonstration purposes. Qualcomm is currently operating commercial service in the area (call sign WPWU989) but this STA is necessary to add the temporary transmitters.
