Northrop Grumman holds experimental license WD2XCR permitting radiation of up to 100 kW peak ERP using the same frequencies in the 2900 - 3100 MHz band that are requested in this application. Under contracts with foreign government customers the equipment must be tested prior to delivery at radiated powers of up to 90 MW peak ERP.
