Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application proposes testing of an automobile race team operations communications system for voice communications between crews and race vehicles at Indianapolis Speedway during October 8-10, 2026. An STA is necessary because the system uses land mobile radio equipment that is not licensable in the United States at the moment due to frequency ranges, and it is proof of concept testing for technology under development.
