Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
LM requires FCC authorization to transmit using the Desert Hawk III Small Unmanned Air System (SUAS) at the US Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), Fort Polk, Louisiana. Desert Hawk III C2 uplink from the Ground Control Station and video/telemetry downlink transmission from the unmanned air vehicle are needed as part of live capability demonstration under realistic operational conditions and equipment settings.
