The requested authorization will be used by Lockheed Martin for internal research efforts in support of US Homeland Security. The experiment will validate the performance of different RF modulations and coding schemes in a realistic over-the-air environment.

Testing is expected to occur for a period of less than 6 months from a site near Littleton Colorado and from a site at Naval Base Ventura County, Ventura CA (an STA is preferred if it expedites processing). During this time, tests will be conducted periodically on an average of 3 days per week, and no more than three times per day.
