Lockheed Martin proposes to evaluate the foregoing capabilities of the QuicLINK solution to further understand deployment considerations and operational attributes. QuicLINK provides WCDMA radio access and core network functionality in a single integrated system. A QuicLINK system supports circuit-switched voice/video UE-to-UE, UE-to-PSTN, and PSTN-to-UE calls, as well as packet-switched data calls. In addition, a QuicLINK system is capable of stand-alone operation where it provides UE-to-UE calls within its radio coverage area. QuicLINK is specifically designed for deployable, mobile units, e.g., military field operations. Lockheed Martin proposes to evaluate the foregoing capabilities of the QuicLINK solution to further understand deployment considerations and operational attributes, such as information transmission rates, access services enabled by IMS, access call features provided by an IP call server, and access and connectivity capabilities.
