Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
LMC-Syracuse has requested permission from Fort Drum to allow us to setup the PSTAR radar at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield - Fort Drum, New York, Lat/Long: 44-03-20.400N / 075-43-10.200W for 1 to 3 days during June through August 2004 so we can gather data on helicopter characteristics for our Baysian classification algorithms. Wed like to utilize the same 10 frequencies that we are currently licensed for. Due to slippages in the schedule and the limited number of helicopter targets available, we would like to request an extension of the current STA to operate from 06/01/2004 through 08/31/2004. All previous technical parameters and restrictions will continue to be observed.
