Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is necessary to allow the testing of Modes 4 & 5 of the installed AIFF system on the contracted aircraft. These modes had been authorization under a previous STA, WB9XVO, after agreement had been arranged and agreed upon to prior coordinate with the necessary regional offices of the FAA.
