Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is being requested to allow operational testing of PSTAR radars while an error in the transmit license is processed. The prior version of our license (9/19/2002-7/01/2004) provided for operation at our Cazenovia test site. The 7/01/2004-7/01/2006 update inavertantly excluded the Cazenovia test site. Our oversight was only discovered recently. A renewal has been requested, we are currently under contract with the Swiss and Australia governments to provide radars. Testing at this site is necessary to verify operational performance of the portable radars.
