Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Special Temporary Authority is requested to support the time-sensitive deployment and evaluation of an Advanced Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) by the Inglewood Police Department in support of public safety and security operations at major public events in Inglewood, California. The upcoming NFL season begins in August 2026, and SoFi Stadium routinely hosts events exceeding 70,000 attendees. The requested temporary authority is necessary to permit near-term operation at the identified deployment locations while the parties evaluate operational suitability and pursue the appropriate longer-term FCC authorization. Expedited consideration is requested due to the imminent commencement of scheduled major-event operations.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of the operation is to deploy and evaluate an Advanced C-UAS system in support of authorized public-safety and security operations conducted by the Inglewood Police Department. Operations will support the detection, tracking, identification, and, where legally authorized, mitigation of unmanned aircraft systems that may present a threat to public safety or security during major events. The system will be operated from the specified fixed deployment locations in Inglewood, California, including locations serving SoFi Stadium.
