Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Telenor was previously granted an STA to facilitate a temporary trial program of utilizing a Ku-band ESV (earth station aboard vessel) terminal aboard a commercial fishing vessel in the North Pacific to permit broadband data transfer to and from the vessel. That trial has been delayed but is now ready to begin. The purpose of this application is to request a six-month extension of the end date for completion of the test until December 7, 2005.
