ATTN.: Microwave Branch Silvus Technologies, Inc., hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to operate within the 2200-2290MHz telemetry band pursuant to Section 21.25 of the Commission’s Rules. Silvus Technologies, Inc. requests that the Commission grant it temporary authority to operate on the frequency centered at 2280MHz with a 20MHz bandwidth from October 10, 2018 through October 16, 2018 with intermittent usage. As explained below, Silvus Technologies, Inc., is filing an STA request to test developing features for new microwave technologies in a MANET / MIMO configuration along Highway 138 in Lancaster, California. Google Earth image attached below for reference. Silvus Technologies, Inc., submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request. Silvus Technologies, Inc., is developing an upgraded feature set for their new microwave emission technologies with relation to propagation, data throughput, vehicle integration and impact utilizing a Sear Technologies IP Camera as a sensor in a Mobile Ad-hoc Network. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the Los Angeles / Lancaster area, Silvus Technologies, Inc., requests the use of this channel. Silvus Technologies, Inc., certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations. Grant of the instant request for STA for the 2.2GHz band would serve the public interest by enabling Silvus Technologies, Inc., to demonstrate the reliability of their emission scheme and feature set as it relates to the Sear Technologies IP Camera in a wireless MANET / MIMO configuration. The proposed service would enable demonstration of the Streamcaster SC4400 transceiver / antenna array in a terrestrial exercise.
