        In re Application of

        Silvus Technologies, Inc.
        10990 Wilshire BLVD., Suite 1500
        Los Angeles, California 90024

To operate in the 2360-2390MHz Telemetry Band around Woodbridge, Virginia.

        ATTN.: Microwave Branch

Silvus Technologies, Inc., hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to operate
within the 2360-2390MHz telemetry band pursuant to Section 21.25 of the Commission’s
Rules. Silvus Technologies, Inc. requests that the Commission grant it temporary
authority to operate on the frequency centered at 2380MHz with a 20MHz bandwidth
from August 21 through August 26, 2016 with intermittent usage. As explained below,
Silvus Technologies, Inc., is filing an STA request to demonstrate microwave technology
        utilizing Wescam’s MX-10 gyro-stabilized sensor for the U.S. Marshal’s Service on an
aerial platform flying between Woodbridge and Manassas, Virginia. Silvus Technologies,
Inc., submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA
        request.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service have invited Silvus Technologies, Inc., to demonstrate new
microwave technologies using Wescam’s MX-10 gyro-stabilized sensor. Due to the
extreme frequency congestion in the Washington, D.C. area, coupled with the added
congestion from traditional Television and News coverage of area events, Silvus
Technologies, Inc., requests the use of this channel.

Silvus Technologies, Inc., certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the
purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations.

Grant of the instant request for STA for the 2.3GHz band would serve the public interest
by enabling Silvus Technologies, Inc., to demonstrate the reliability of their emission
scheme as it relates to Wescam’s MX-10 gyro-stabilized sensor. The proposed service
would enable a demonstration of the Streamcaster SC4200 transceiver on an air-to-
ground-based exercise. Silvus Technologies, Inc is in the process of obtaining the
consent of the relevant frequency coordinators for this project, including AFTRCC.
AFTRCC has indicated its intent to forward the results of the coordination to the
        Commission.

In accordance with Section 74.633 of the Commission’s Rules, the following is provided:
