Subject: Request for Info - STA File #0682-EX-ST-2017
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

1. The 4930-4950 MHz frequency band you requested extends into the 4940-4990 MHz public safety
band. The Experimental Licensing Branch cannot authorize the use of that band without demonstrated
successful coordination with all affected public safety entities. If you can move your frequency request so
that it does not extend into the public safety band, then we can proceed with processing.
2. The 4990-5010 MHz frequency band you requested extends into the 4990-5000 MHz radio astronomy
band. By rule, we cannot authorize any transmissions in a passive band. You will need to move your
frequency request completely above 5000 MHz (you cannot move down into the adjacent 4940-4990
MHz public safety band) before we can begin processing.

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of May 25, 2017 may result in
application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
