To Whom It May Concern,

On behalf of IMSAR, LLC I would like to apply for a modification of Experimental License Call Sign WJ2XEI
to further the development and testing of IMSAR’s maritime radar system. All scan patterns will
predominantly be over the ocean, scanning to the west.

This application modifies the following location:

1. Frequency change: 16.2GHz – 17.7GHz, Santa Barbara, CA

The end user of these experimental systems will be predominantly the US Department of Defense. I
hope the attached document has sufficient information to enable a favorable approval of an
experimental license.
