Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A 6-month STA is necessary to allow Harris to demonstrate transmission of a ground to space uplink from a Phased Array Antenna System (PAAS) being developed under the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Reduced Latency Space Data (RLSD) program. This STA was coordinated with NASA and NOAA and is in direct support of an Air Force effort and contract.
