                             EXHIBIT 1 - DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIMENT

Harris Corporation ("Harris") hereby requests experimental Special Temporary Authority (“STA”) for a six
month period to perform ongoing critical testing, demonstration, and experiments in conjunction with the
United States Air Force - Air Force Security Forces Center.

Usage on the frequencies requested herein have been successfully coordinated with the Military Advisory
Group “MAG” Chair which concurred to said frequency usage on October 12, 2018.

MAG noted no special coordination requirements for the location contained within this STA request.

All experimental testing will be conducted in conjunction with the development of equipment utilized by US
Military forces. Accordingly, the applicable POC/Contract information is provided below.

Because the equipment is technically incapable of providing station identification, Harris respectfully requests a
waiver of the station identification provisions of Section 5.115 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. § 5.115.

All network traffic will be simulated traffic only, solely for evaluation purposes and not for the purpose of
providing network data communications services to user stations.

Harris submits that a grant of this STA request is necessary and in the public interest because it will advance
national security efforts by contributing and assisting in the further development of communications equipment
utilized by the U.S. Armed Forces.
