Addendum to Application of HNS Licensee Sub, LLC Application for Renewal of Call Sign WD2XRV June 2007 ADDENDUM TO RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR CALL SIGN WD2XRV By this addendum, HNS Licensee Sub, LLC (“Hughes”) hereby provides the following additional explanatory material for its application for renewal of the license for Call Sign WD2XRV. Specifically, Hughes reports that the file number of the underlying license that is being renewed is: File No. 0117-EX-PL-2005. This is the license application that was granted to Hughes on June 16, 2005, and which is set to expire on July 1, 2007. Unfortunately, the license associated with this application is shown in the Commission’s on-line database as having expired due to the grant of another license. In fact, it is Hughes’ understanding that the license issued under File No. 0117-EX-PL-2005 remains very much valid. When Hughes tries to renew the license for Call Sign WD2XRV, the electronic form pre-fills with File No. 0078-EX-TC-2005, which is the file number of the application for a transfer of control of Hughes that was approved later in 2005. As this is the only application against which a renewal application for Call Sign WD2XRV was able to be filed through the Commission’s website, Hughes sought renewal of its license in this fashion. To the extent that it is necessary or appropriate, Hughes respectfully urges the Commission to associate its June 2007 application for renewal of its license in Call Sign WD2XRV with File No. 0117-EX-PL-2005, rather than with File No. 0078-EX-TC- 2005. 246048: v3
