Temporary Demonstrations of UMTS Equipment in Plano, TX Dear Mr. Ekstrom Comsearch has completed the frequency coondination for Ericsson‘s temporary PCS operations in Plano, TX, for thetime period stating from April 15, 2001 through April 30, 2001. The specific frequencies coordinated are listed on the attachment In order to avoid harmfil interference with mierowave systems and to comply with the FCC 1ulesand regulations, we have analyzed the temporary operation using Comsearch‘s spectrum management tools agninst other microwave systems within the FCC required coordination distance. The celculations used in our analysis follow the guidelines specified in TTA Telecommunications Systems Bulltin (TSB) 10—P, ‘Interference Criteria for Microwave Systems" Specifcall,it includes both threshold degradation and carriecto—interference (C/M) methodologies for analog and video microwave receivers, and threshold—to—interference (T) methods for digitel microwave receivers.
