Special condition 8 seems to have been brought forward from an older license. This special condition
can be removed from this license.

Subject: WE2XWG Top Hat Special Condition

Dan,

FCC license WE2XWG (attached) is for AEW&C RADAR and Interrogator ground testing at Moses Lake. Special
Condition 8 restricts the test to “Top Hat” only. We are under the impression that this special condition has
stayed on the license over time but is no longer a concern for the FAA.

Can you please either confirm that indeed the FAA still wants the Top Hat only special condition for a reason or
can we remove that special condition altogether on WE2XWG?
