Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We intend to perform WiMAX experiments using Redline AN-100U equipment. As the equipment operates in the 3.4 GHz to 3.6 GHz spectrum range, which is licensed in the US, we will use RF translators on the Redline equipment to shift the operational frequencies to the NATO Band at 4.4 GHz. The STA is necessary for us to operate in the NATO Band, because RF translators that can shift WiMAX operation into unlicensed bands do not exist yet.
