Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Broadcast Sports, Inc. is an audio, video, and data production company which provides audio, video, and data for broadcast, satellite broadcast and cablecast of sporting and other events. Broadcast Sports, Inc. has certain private wireless licenses for this purpose. However, the spectrum demands in major cities, and the limited spectrum for these events make it necessary to make coordinated, temporary use of additional frequencies in the UHF band. This is necessary to have sufficient audio relay from RF camera personnel, directors, administrative, and security personnel at numerous locations at these events. Broadcast Sports, Inc. will coordinate with the Local SBE coordinator in each venue for all UHF frequencies used.
